In ancient Rome, the genius (plural genii) was the guiding spirit or tutelary deity of a person, family (gens), or place (genius loci). If it wasn't for the subject presented and used as model, I would've called this an original, not fan art.
I'm speaking of a creative spirit, rather than of a person of amazing talent. Don't get me wrong, Ruki is talented, but it's not what I'm after with the picture. I'm more interested in his creative genius.
